FAQs

  • Mediation is a process that focuses on Alternate Dispute Resolution, or ADR. During this process, a neutral party – the mediator – helps the two or more parties come to a resolution. Unlike other forms of resolution, the mediator does not impose their will on a decision. While arbitrations and trials end with a forced solution, mediation can end with a mutually-agreeable resolution or, in some cases, no resolution.

  • Herb focuses on five mediation categories: business and business labor disputes, contract disputes, real estate disputes, lending disputes, and executive employment disputes.

  • While it depends on the type of mediation, there’s no set time frame for a resolution. Although Herb strives to have every dispute conclude in a resolution, some mediations may continue for an indefinite period of time.

  • Yes, Herb’s office has four separate conference rooms, allowing for up to four parties to have their own spaces at the same time.
